Neutral mask<\/strong><\/p>\n

The use of masks has been part of collective rituals since time immemorial. We find them in very diverse and distant ancestral traditions. They take us back to the origins of performance and therefore to the deepest roots of theater.<\/p>\n

The neutral mask initiates us into stage play, allowing us to discover the maximum expressive breadth of our body and our imagination.<\/p>\n

This work allows us to develop awareness of our body in movement and in dialogue with our own poetic world, in the search for a greater state of presence. <\/p>\n

The neutral mask is an invitation to live in the present moment and summon in our body the great movement or mystery that animates the world.<\/p>\n

We will work with masks by Alfredo Iriarte.<\/p>\n

About Carlos<\/h1>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Carlos Cegarra is a performing artist, movement educator, and facilitator of creative processes. He trained in the London International School of Performing Arts<\/strong> (London), has delved into disciplines such as physical and gestural theatre, theatrical play, ritual and pedagogical masks, and the intersections between theatre, dance, and somatic techniques. Her teaching career includes the Master's Degree in Dance and Movement Arts from UCAM<\/strong> (Murcia), the Diploma in Mask Making from the University of San Mart\u00edn<\/strong> (Buenos Aires), the Thrissur School of Drama IFTS<\/strong> (Kerala, India), Cabuia \u2013 school of theatre and movement<\/strong> (Buenos Aires) and the translation faculty of the Moscow State Linguistic University<\/strong> (Russia).
She is currently part of the teaching team at arthaus.berlin\/Thomas Prattki Center<\/strong> and her work focuses on the integration of body, imagination, and creativity from an initiatory perspective. For some years now she has been directing La Cuadra<\/strong>An art center in a rural area near the Mar Menor that offers a program focused on education, community, and transformation. He is also the founder and director of the company Enkidu Theater<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
