Entretejías is a project conceived by Rosario Sanmartín with the purpose of creating a space where women of the village can gather around an activity that many know well because they have practiced throughout their lives: weaving.
They started the workshop in early October 2023 with a weekly meeting and set the goal of creating a Christmas decoration for the village.
14 women have regularly attended the workshop for whom this weekly meeting has been a meeting place with neighbors, friends or family. This weekly meeting has come to make up for the lack of other spaces that allow neighbors to meet outside their homes.
On Saturday, December 9, the tapestry was placed in the Plaza San Miguel de Los Nietos Viejos with the collaboration of neighbors.
The group continues to meet every week in La Cuadra
