The descent of the hero or heroine into underground regions is a motif that appears in a multitude of narratives that range from archaic myths to current culture, including popular tales, fables, legends and epic poems.

If we accept the idea that myths and stories are poetic ways of approaching life experience, the stories that narrate trips to underground worlds would be telling us about what it means to access the unconscious terrain of our psyche.

Based on stories, the use of masks, plastic expression materials and the practice of embodiment, we propose a series of listening and imaginative activation practices. These practices will allow us to investigate the hidden sources of our own creativity.

This workshop is aimed at artists, creators, educators and people interested in artistic, personal or social development.
