Gestural Theatre Workshop – Neutral Mask

The Neutral Mask workshop is a practical introduction to this fundamental tool of gestural pedagogy. The neutral mask proposes a state of calm and availability from which any action and any direction become possible. It is a fertile starting point that allows the performer to fully open themselves to space, time, and presence.

Throughout the process, movement dynamics, improvisations, and physical sequences are explored, helping to reveal tensions, discover the economy of gesture, and awaken deeper listening. Working with the mask invites us to discover a way of being on stage that is alive, open, and unpredictable.

The workshop is aimed at both experienced performers and those who wish to approach physical theater and body training through a concrete and transformative approach.
